Wizkid: Long Live Lagos is a documentary about an artist whose influence extends well beyond the music industry, a portrait of a cultural force and the city that shaped him. The campaign graphic treatments had to carry that energy: Lagos, Afrobeats, and a global profile.
Music documentary campaigns occupy a specific space in motion graphics work. The visual identity has to speak to a fanbase with strong existing associations with the artist's aesthetic while reaching new audiences who are discovering the subject for the first time. The treatments work across both.
