IT: Welcome to Derry is one of the most anticipated franchise extensions in recent HBO history, a prequel to Stephen King's IT set decades before the events of the films. The visual identity had to honor the weight of the source material while establishing something new, and the campaign graphics were built to carry that tension.
The scope of the ITE work here was significant: every in-episode title treatment for Season 1 was created and versioned as part of this campaign. In-episode spots are among the most tightly constrained deliverables in network promotion. They air directly within the broadcast environment and have to feel seamless with the show's own aesthetic.
Beyond the ITE suite, the mid-season trailer and weeks-ahead promo extended the campaign into longer-form promotional formats, each requiring distinct pacing and graphic treatment while maintaining consistency across the full body of work.
